We are open from 6:30am-6:30pm Monday through Friday. We have a fabulous curriculum that is proprietary to The Learning Experience. National Academy for Educators and Caregivers created it solely for The Learning Experience centers. The curriculum is a comprehensive guide for the teachers to follow and is specifically designed for each stage of development in Infants through Preschool. It encourages each child's success independently while developing intellectually, socially and physically. They will learn through fun and exciting hands-on activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. Sign language is incorporated throughout the curriculum...teaching our little learners how to communicate at a young age is extremely important and it actually raises a child's IQ by 5 points! Children 2.5 years and older will receive LEAP books which are age appropriate workbooks that the children complete weekly. At the end of the week the children are assessed and a record is kept of what they were able to master on their own and what areas they needed additional assistance in. The book will be sent home bi-weekly or monthly depending on the child's age. In addition we have computers in every class so they will be exposed to technology through the wonderful world of computers. We also have an Early Reading Program called Fun with Phonics. This program was also designed by National Academy for Educators and Caregivers and features the most innovative and creative techniques to make reading fun! These techniques connect the five essential areas established by the National Reading Panel...Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary and Comprehension. The children are taught lessons in a group setting but then have individual time with the teacher where they review with the children the lesson and proceed at the child's pace. This allows each child to feel confident and excited about their abilities and really encourages a love of learning. The children receive posters to take home enforcing the "home-school" connection. With each letter the child masters, they receive a sticker for their at home poster in addition to a "Fun Too". Each book that the child masters is sent home to review and then it is theirs to keep! The teachers educate the children by utilizing the programs entertaining songs, big books and work books. In centers where the program has been tested ---80% of the preschool children are reading at 1st and 2nd grade levels! There is plenty of learning going on but the children also have free time throughout the day where they are able to choose an area they prefer to play in and twice a day, weather permitting, they play outside. The children's favorite part of the program other than our teachers is our miniature main stree USA - this area is called Make Believe Boulevard. It is a 2 level room with a race track, slide and ball pit...the children love role playing in this area! We believe that "What's good for one child is good for all children" and therefore we never charge additional for enrichment programs. These programs are taught by specially trained Jelly Bean Junction Instructors who are experts in their field. The enrichment programs include Music 4 Me, Dancing Feet, Suddenly Science, Start to Art and Movin'and Groovin'. We are huge on cleanliness and security. The building is equipped with security monitors and a key fob system which only allows enrolled parents and employed staff entry into the facility. To make life easier on you, we offer 2 snacks plus a hot lunch with milk and dessert daily. The menu is on a 6 week rotaional schedule and alternatives are available. All of the programs and everything we discussed is all inclusive...there are no additional charges! In order to understand the magnitude of our program, one must come in and take a tour of our beautiful facility so they can observe in person how happy our children and families are.
